Josh Sorensen, General Manager
Josh has over 23 years in the automotive industry and brings hands-on experience and leadership to the team. He enjoys spending time with his wife and kids and riding side-by-sides. Z-1 is his passion, and he's dedicated to giving back to the community that supports the shop.


Richard Zbinden, Owner
Rich founded Z-1 Automotive with a passion for quality work and old-school values. He's a lover of classic cars, a proud father, grandfather, and fiance. Rich built Z-1 on trust, hard work, and a deep commitment to the community.


Michelle Goodman, Office Manager
Michelle has been with Z-1 for over five years and is the heart of the office. She keeps the team organized, supported, and taken care of. Michelle has two adult sons, Dalton and James, and is known for her upbeat attitude and dedication to the crew.


Zoe Hays, Service Consultant
Zoe is our Service Consultant and a friendly face customers can count on. She's the proud mom of Rylee and Braxton and enjoys watching them play sports. Zoe has a bubbly personality and loves spending time with family and friends.


Eric Huffman, Service Advisor
Eric is ASE Parts & Service Certified and has been with Z-1 for two years. He's great with customers and always keeps things moving smoothly. In his free time, he enjoys bowling and taking trips when he gets the chance.


Shane Wallace, Automotive Technology Specialist
Shane is ASE Master Certified and brings precision and knowledge to the team. He and his wife Heather have two daughters, Emma and Anna. Shane enjoys time with his family, working in the garage, and being outdoors.


Nick Williams, Automotive Technology Specialist
Nick is a dedicated father to his daughter Nataleya and loves spending time with her and his mom. He's passionate about four-wheelers and always brings humor and energy to the shop. Nick's always learning and staying ahead in automotive technology


Shawn Bizaillion, Automotive Technology Specialist
Shawn is a hard worker who enjoys hunting, riding horses, and country living. He takes yearly trips to the mountains and brings grit and a love of the outdoors to everything he does.


Ashton Gaffner, Automotive Technology Specialist
Ashton is our youngest team member and has been with Z-1 for three years. He's continuing his education year-round and is sharp, hardworking, and committed to growing in the trade.


Jeff Frank, Senior Automotive Technology Specialist
Jeff brings over 40 years of experience and unmatched knowledge to the team. He's always helping others, loves to hunt, and is known for cooking up amazing meals and desserts for the crew. Jeff is the kind of guy who will do anything for anyone.


Quinton Manning, General Service Specialist
Quinton is a hardworking, positive team member who loves spending time with his wife on their farm. He enjoys the outdoors and brings a great attitude to work every day.


Dustin Koonce, Tow Truck Operator
Dustin is our reliable Tow Truck Operator and a new father to a beautiful little girl. He's always ready to help customers in need and is a dependable part of the Z-1 team.


Kenneth Zbinden, Shop Support Specialist
Kenneth is the go-to guy when you need solid advice or a helping hand. His knowledge is endless, and his work ethic is unmatched. Kenneth spends much of his time with his family, on the farm, and serving through his church.

I was traveling from Tennessee to the Quad Cities (Illinois) and after traversing road construction on I-64, the 'check pressure' light for my tires came on for my Honda. As I entered Greenville, I noted what looked to be a brand-new auto shop (Z-1) on the outskirts of Greenville. After I fueled down the road, I drove back to Z-1 and asked if they had time to check my tires. They ran it inside, did a quick test of all four tires and reset the dash light. It all checked out fine and within 15 minutes of arriving I was on my way. They didn't charge me for the service. My father was an auto mechanic who ran a Texaco station and the whole experience reminded me of how he treated his customers. That type of service is sorely lacking these days. I would highly recommend this shop based on my own experience.

Dustin was wonderful!!! We broke down on 70 E, on our way to Terre Haute after hours and he made sure we were safe, and was very polite and respectful, he was fast getting to us and took very good care of us. I recommend Z-1 to everyone who needs a tow and is either living around here or passing through and needs one! A+ service!

On my way home from a long trip & my truck had an issue at midnight along the interstate 20 miles from home. The driver called me right back and they were there within an hour to get me home safely. The driver, Rich, I believe was his name, was friendly and professional. We even knew a lot of the same people! Z-1 is a great local business! I would never hesitate to use them for my auto needs.
